Rev 22: 4 They will see his face, and his name will be on their foreheads. 5 And night will be no more. They will need no light of lamp or sun, for the Lord God will be their light, and they will reign forever and ever.
I have been taken. I bought several light bulbs for my kitchen about 3 months ago that said they lasted “1 1/2 + years”. I came home, replaced two that had gone out and went on with my life thinking I was set (as far as light went in that room for a while). Recently, I noticed that one of the “new” ones had gone out! I reached under the kitchen sink to grab the box, forgetting about the promised time, until it was staring me in the face! HA!!! Not such a true statement. In fact, I would call that ” False Advertisement”.
I have a young friend who is deathly scared of the dark. As I read this passage this morning, I thought of my friend, C’Belle. To think of never having the need of a flashlight, lamp, candle, or any other form of light is almost un-imaginable! And yet, here in the above scripture, we are given such a promise! I am so thankful that we can stand on the WORD of God and know that every word is true, there is no false advertising. If we are His children, He will tattoo His name on our foreheads, we will see HIM face to face, and we will never have need of artificial light again! He is the real deal!!
Amen!
No more night, No More Pain, No more Sorrow, No more sin nor temptation to sin! And Best yet eternal fellowship with our loving creator….
I am not certain that the word Tattoo gives a favorable conotation but seeing I have no better understanding I cannot offer anything better. I must say however that if it is a tatoo, it will be the best and most beautiful tattoo ever!
Agreed! I was at a loss at how to describe so this is what I put.. I don’t encourage tattoos..
