Revelation 19:16
On his robe and on his thigh he has a name written, King of kings and Lord of lords!
Today we were asked to contrast the King and Groom we have to the one that the girls in the book of Esther, including Esther herself, had to deal with.
I loved this task as I am really a hopeless romantic spiritually speaking. I love the truth of being purified by Christ and FOR Christ! And I love that my Groom is the KING OF KINGS! That is a Knight on a white horse that can’t be knocked off! He chose to leave His place in glory, lay His life down for us and rise again so that WE can be united with Him! You can’t defeat this One! You can’t put Him in a box! He is all consuming, all powerful and ALL GLORIOUS! This is Our King! This is the baby came down for us! GLORY!
I want to share these lyrics and if I can figure out how to upload the music I will
Beautiful by Phil Wickham
I see Your face in every sunrise
The colors of the morning are inside Your eyes
The world awakens in the light of the day
I look up to the sky and say
You’re beautiful
I see Your power in the moonlit night
Where planets are in motion and galaxies are bright
We are amazed in the light of the stars
It’s all proclaiming who you are
You’re beautiful
I see you there hanging on a tree
You bled and then you died and then you rose again for me
Now you are sitting on Your heavenly throne
Soon we will be coming home
You’re beautiful
When we arrive at eternity’s shore
Where death is just a memory and tears are no more
We’ll enter in as the wedding bells ring
Your bride will come together and we’ll sing
You’re beautiful
I see Your face, I see Your face, I see Your face
You’re beautiful, You’re beautiful, You’re beautiful
